I beg to differ. A couple of nationally known money managers have expressed the opinion that the DJI would double within 24 months of the FairTax's passage. When that happens, guess who the primary beneficiaries would be?

Young couples just starting out with no savings? NOT!!

The US of A would become the largest tax haven in the world and a magnet for international capital.

A little known fact about the FairTax, foreign corporations pay the tax on "gross income from sources within the United States." So it's a corporate income tax for foreign corporations doing business in the US.

I am not nationally known (nor do I want to be, can you imagine?) but I do manage a substantial amount of money. I can't see any way the Dow can double in 24 months. It would take at least 4 years.
