Serial killer Michael Ross today will move to halt his execution and go to court to put to rest concerns about his mental competence that have led to frenzied appeals and five execution dates in six calendar days.
He is scheduled to die by lethal injection at 9 p.m. It's now likely that there will be no execution for at least a month.
