HOWELL, Mich. (AP) _ A Ku Klux Klan robe sold for one-thousand-425 dollars tonight during an auction of robes and other K-K-K items that's attracted a high level of interest and criticism.
Another Klan robe sold for one-thousand-150 dollars at the auction in Howell.
One person in attendance was seen wearing a K-K-K pin, and another wore an arm band with a Nazi swastika.
One of the robes was bought for 700-dollars by the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia at Ferris State University. Museum officials hope to use the robe -- designed for a woman -- as part of its efforts to teach tolerance.
Civil rights groups have blasted the auction as insensitive. They say it's hurting efforts to rid overwhelmingly white Howell of its racist reputation.

Funny thing is that mine is the complete article, per the source.
