You are on to something there. I can imagine the first thing he would do after being inaugurated is calling on the Iraqis to postpone the election so he could "give our troops the tools they need to" blah blah blah.

But I imagine the Iraqis would say nothing doing.

Of course Teddy would have shut his yap, though.

Wait a minute---I just called stoopid on myself---

Of course the election would have taken place, because George W. Bush would have been President until January 20th and he would NOT have stopped for one minute to make sure this election went through---not only for the Iraqi people, but so the lives of the dead and injured troops would NOT have been in vain---

Just wanted to call it on myself before someone else did!!!
