Norway is the Nebraska of Europe--there are so many similarities it boogles the mind, between the two places and the two peoples--but that was covered on an earlier thread.
One wonders if bison are covered under socialized medicine in Norway, as apparently farm animals are, the presence of bison in Norway being another one of these startling similarities with Nebraska. (And yes, in all seriousness, at least according to the internet, Norway does have bison, real bison, just like Nebraska.)
Nebraska produces 100% of the edible beef that is produced in the United States--and scant appreciation Nebraska gets for it--one supposes unappreciated Norway produces 100% of the bison found in all of Europe.
Ping.
If anyone else wishes to be on the "Norway ping list," so as to learn more about our gallant ally in the War Against Terror--with a presence in both Afghanistan and Iraq--give me a holler.
