I agree completely. At another point in the interview, when talking about the Swift Boat Vets, Kerry said there are always lies and mistruths during a campaign (can't remember the exact quote). Anybody with a functioning brain would have followed up with- "Okay, Senator, what lies did you tell during the campaign?"
Russert should have followed up by asking how many of these kids are illegally in our country.
As you can see Kerry is going for health care for kids. How can anybody say no to free health care for the kids. A half way measure to full health care for all.
If Kerry's health car for kids passes why wouldn't other parents cancel their kids current health care payments and let the government pick up the tab?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm, why not!

Timmy is slow with the followups because he is new rich (private club seats) and won't put on the spot any of his powerful guests or he will lose his private club access.
