I don't know when the KR came along but I thought it was after we left VN. Maybe my memory is fuzzy. But I don't think we were ever allies.

I just googled KR. They were formed early and fought us along the border. They were educated in France, the leaders, and the fighters were peasants. They deposed the Prince, Sihanouk, and brought in Pol Pot. They were china allies and true communists. They were formed in the fifties but didn't get powerful till after we left VN.

10 am Atlanta, Meet The Press begins (with ice reports at the bottom of the screen. What would we do if something really bad happened to us? Local media sucks) But on to MTP. If some of you guys have misreported Russert cornering Kerry to sign his 180, I'm going to find you and beat you severely about your head and shoulders.

Tim is living in the past, isn't he? Like Judy Woodruff....oh what might have been?

Tim interviews Brian Williams live from Baghdad. He says the overall feeling is "unease". 14 bombing attacks so far, he says. "We exercise caution about the results, like we did with our own exit polls,", he says. 8 to 10 days it will take before there are hard numbers. "voting at random", Williams says, "which some critics say de-legitimizes the results". "it will be a huge task to protect the people who won..."

"I was just there a few weeks ago", then praises the troops. "it is significant they had the vote, but no one should try to over-hype it". "What really counts is to have a significant reconciliation.". "It's a kind of legitimacy," Kerry describes the election.

Now, Kerry is finger counting what he said he told Bush we needed to do, way back in the campaign.
"I was in Egypt three weeks ago", Kerry said. Mubarik told him, "I don't know why we aren't doing more training". Kerry says, "We are not doing what we need to do so that Iraqis can take over their own country.". Kerry says, "Iraq is more of a threat than it was before".

(Steven Flynn Must look up who he is cause he's written a book Kerry likes)

"I've sat with any number of middle eastern leaders", Kerry name drops again, to attack Bush. All these leaders confided in Kerry and now Kerry drops their names and countries like napalm on the Bush administration.

Russert shows Kerry a tape of Kennedy telling Bush what he should do "when the election is over". Kerry says "No", he does not agree with Kennedy's recommendations. No we should not give dead-line for pulling out. "No" we should not immediately pull out 12,000 troops. Now Kerry is translating what it was Kennedy meant to say. hee hee,

"Plenty of ways to skin this cat", Kerry says. He says he wouldn't be surprised if behind closed doors, Bush ask Iraq to tell us to leave. (that's the kind of duplicity Kerry would engage in. Thank goodness Russert asked Kerry if he had any information Bush would do that behind the scenes sneaky stuff, and Kerry had to say "No, he didn't have any specific information."

Kerry says, "only now is General Luck coming around to what we've been recommending all along". (Do you get the arrogance and emptiness of that self-serving boast?)

ROTF!!! Russert shows Bush ad showing Kerry saying "I did vote for it before I voted against it". Kerry says he never suggested cutting and running, I presented a 4 point plan. and once again Kerry finger counts what he said. (Kerry's hand gestures are still hilarious)

Hand Jive!!! Hand Jive!!!!!

"Respect for the process, not feeling sorry for myself at all", Kerry describes how he felt on Inaugaration Day.

"I won the popular vote in the battleground states", Kerry says.

"I believe 9-11 was the deciding factor in this election". and says the Osama tape did have an impact. "I'm proud of the campaign, Tim". I won the youth vote, the moderate vote, blah blah...and something about an Ohio football game. Silly, silly man.

Common ground? and you didn't vote for Condeleeza Rice? "Yes, she's qualified", Kerry admits, then some blah blah about her being responsible for bad policy in Iraq. Finger counting again, the reasons why he voted against her.

More hand jive.

"For others to judge" about the impact of Unfit for Command. It was lies and slander. What decided this election was 9-11. (I'm amazzed at how diligent Russert is, really nailing Kerry on specific quotes. "We were right on the border", right on the border...in fact we were ambushed there". "It's been documented by the other men on my boat". We did go 5 miles into Cambodia. I even have some photographs. He's sticking to his story, adamant. we were on the border.

(WHY THE HELL DIDN'T TIM RUSSERT ASK KERRY THESE TUFF QUESTSIONS DURING THE CAMPAIGN??????????) You brilliantly asked.

Wanna bet Tim Russert never never mentions Kerry's 180 again?
