That's the way I heard it too. He was lying.

Cavett sounds rather petty. Makes him a rather small person.

Cavett comes up with "Later this year President Bush will tell the American people he's been kidding us and reveal there is no such word as 'nucular'". What a jackass. I don't remember Cavett ever mentioning that Jimmy Carter - a certified nucular engineer - pronounced the word the same way that Bush does.
Cavett is just another whiney-assed liberal.

You are onto something I do believe. It was in that lie that he mentioned the Khmer Rouge and I didn't get the quote but I thinkk he said they were taking arms to them which would mean he was working for the wrong side.
We need to look at that sequence very carefully,,I think he tripped himself up but don't exactly know how. He was definitely off his stride.
Good catch from you,,your name suits you!

What is so funny about Dick Cavett, on the screen they had "The Dick Cavett Show" underneath his name. A show that was sh!tcanned 20-some years ago.

Kerry said he had photos of when he was in Cambodia on his secret mission with the CIA guy, and he has photos with the people that were with him, and he has the hat---he then said he wished the CIA guy would come forward and back up his story---actually, he kinda stumbled a little over the title CIA man, he sounded like he THINKS it was a CIA guy, now.
Did anyone else catch his hesitancy at that point in the interview? I thought it was very telling to yet again, his propensity for story-telling. He is SUCH an idiot and left himself WIDE OPEN after that comment!
Yes, I agree .. he was story telling again!!

MEET THE DEPRESSED: John Freakin' Kerry talking to Mr. Potatoe Head, Timmy Russert. Two propagandists for the Democrap Party!
To: Alas Babylon!; All
Good morning - I just got back from taking someone to the airport, so I haven't been able to catch much news. From my quick reading here, it sounds like the Iraqi elections went really well. How are the Dims spinning them as a sham and a colossal failure? I know that's coming.
To: BigSkyFreeper
I guess luckily for me, he was a little before my time.

Russert did a good interview IMHO . He just didn't slug Kerry and that was a disappointment. He exposed Kerry. He did it for Hillary if you ask me.
