I love it. Ted and Kerry on non stop does more for us than anyone. Kerry's reliving the election and talking about how he actually won was priceless.

I think he said he would sign the 180 before he decided not to all the while saying he had signed it but wouldn't sign it after having already done so.

The man ought to be selling used cars.

Maybe you're right -- I admit that the sight of both Dayton and Kennedy causes a red haze to cloud my vision. Perhaps that affected my perception of the interview. Having said that, I would like to see these clowns get called on their lies and posturing a lot more than they do. It's frustrating.

"WHAT WILL THE DAYS MONTAGE WORDS BE? FOLKS LESTS PLAY THE "SPOT THE TALKING POINT WORDS"......

1) Bush didn't use this as to why we invaded Iraq, we never found any WMDs

2) While there may be a 72% turnout, only a small % of Sunis voted, therefore, the election is not relevant.

3) The Sunis were 'disenfranchised'

4) This is only a small start and there is still a lot to be done and more elections to be held. We'll have to see if they can write their constitution and hold other elections.

5) They voted and we need to bring our troops home now.

6) There was violence and at least 35 people were killed.

7) The election and vote doesn't mean anything, it's still a 'quagmire' and our troops are being killed daily.

8) The infrastructure is still in shambles and they don't have continuous electricity.

9) We're spending too much money there and Bush wants another $80B. We can't afford that, that money needs to go to pay for the 45M of Americans who don't have health care. There are children in this country that haven't been immunized and haven't seen a doctor in over a year.

10) It's Bush's fault ________ (fill in the blank)

11) Bush doesn't have an exit strategy.

12) The troops didn't get flowers and there wasn't dancing in the street like Bush told us there would be.

13) Haliburton and Cheney are making a lot of money off of this. They need to be investigated.

I surfed over to NBC briefly in time to hear Kerry say he'd sign form 180 but he said he wants every single person who has challenged him to do so, too.

It sounded like a contingency and seems to me is meant to convey an implication (typical of his way) that the Swift Vets have something to hide in their records.

Back to Fox News Sunday for me.

Instead of taling about the future and what a success the USA had today,

MTP is directing attention to the reason democrats lost.

NOT why Bush won, is is the DEmocrat ("gay") Party interview with Joooooooohn Kery.

I think we all criticize Russert and others because what we really really want is for Russert to call Kerry a weenie just prior to slapping his silly face and telling him he is a low, yellow bellied weasel not worthy of wiping out feet on. I don't think that will happen.

At least Russert ASKED Kerry to sign the 180.

BUT if you listen closely, Kerry hasn't stirred from his former position that all relevant documents have been released. This is one time I wish he WOULD flipflop and say "OK...hand it here, and I'll sign."

"Kerry says he's put all the records out"

According to the Dept of the Navy there are still about 30 pages of docs not authorized for release by f'n.

*********************************************************** Navy Personnel Command FOIA Officer Dave German wrote in an e-mail to Judicial Watch that the Navy "withheld thirty-one pages of documents from the responsive military personnel service records as we were not provided a release authorization." A "release authorization" would have to come from Kerry filling out and signing a Standard Form 180, something he has yet to do. A Standard Form 180 would authorize the complete release of all his military records.

10 am Atlanta, Meet The Press begins (with ice reports at the bottom of the screen. What would we do if something really bad happened to us? Local media sucks) But on to MTP. If some of you guys have misreported Russert cornering Kerry to sign his 180, I'm going to find you and beat you severely about your head and shoulders.

Tim is living in the past, isn't he? Like Judy Woodruff....oh what might have been?

Tim interviews Brian Williams live from Baghdad. He says the overall feeling is "unease". 14 bombing attacks so far, he says. "We exercise caution about the results, like we did with our own exit polls,", he says. 8 to 10 days it will take before there are hard numbers. "voting at random", Williams says, "which some critics say de-legitimizes the results". "it will be a huge task to protect the people who won..."

"I was just there a few weeks ago", then praises the troops. "it is significant they had the vote, but no one should try to over-hype it". "What really counts is to have a significant reconciliation.". "It's a kind of legitimacy," Kerry describes the election.

Now, Kerry is finger counting what he said he told Bush we needed to do, way back in the campaign.
"I was in Egypt three weeks ago", Kerry said. Mubarik told him, "I don't know why we aren't doing more training". Kerry says, "We are not doing what we need to do so that Iraqis can take over their own country.". Kerry says, "Iraq is more of a threat than it was before".

(Steven Flynn Must look up who he is cause he's written a book Kerry likes)

"I've sat with any number of middle eastern leaders", Kerry name drops again, to attack Bush. All these leaders confided in Kerry and now Kerry drops their names and countries like napalm on the Bush administration.

Russert shows Kerry a tape of Kennedy telling Bush what he should do "when the election is over". Kerry says "No", he does not agree with Kennedy's recommendations. No we should not give dead-line for pulling out. "No" we should not immediately pull out 12,000 troops. Now Kerry is translating what it was Kennedy meant to say. hee hee,

"Plenty of ways to skin this cat", Kerry says. He says he wouldn't be surprised if behind closed doors, Bush ask Iraq to tell us to leave. (that's the kind of duplicity Kerry would engage in. Thank goodness Russert asked Kerry if he had any information Bush would do that behind the scenes sneaky stuff, and Kerry had to say "No, he didn't have any specific information."

Kerry says, "only now is General Luck coming around to what we've been recommending all along". (Do you get the arrogance and emptiness of that self-serving boast?)

ROTF!!! Russert shows Bush ad showing Kerry saying "I did vote for it before I voted against it". Kerry says he never suggested cutting and running, I presented a 4 point plan. and once again Kerry finger counts what he said. (Kerry's hand gestures are still hilarious)

Hand Jive!!! Hand Jive!!!!!

"Respect for the process, not feeling sorry for myself at all", Kerry describes how he felt on Inaugaration Day.

"I won the popular vote in the battleground states", Kerry says.

"I believe 9-11 was the deciding factor in this election". and says the Osama tape did have an impact. "I'm proud of the campaign, Tim". I won the youth vote, the moderate vote, blah blah...and something about an Ohio football game. Silly, silly man.

Common ground? and you didn't vote for Condeleeza Rice? "Yes, she's qualified", Kerry admits, then some blah blah about her being responsible for bad policy in Iraq. Finger counting again, the reasons why he voted against her.

More hand jive.

"For others to judge" about the impact of Unfit for Command. It was lies and slander. What decided this election was 9-11. (I'm amazzed at how diligent Russert is, really nailing Kerry on specific quotes. "We were right on the border", right on the border...in fact we were ambushed there". "It's been documented by the other men on my boat". We did go 5 miles into Cambodia. I even have some photographs. He's sticking to his story, adamant. we were on the border.

(WHY THE HELL DIDN'T TIM RUSSERT ASK KERRY THESE TUFF QUESTSIONS DURING THE CAMPAIGN??????????) You brilliantly asked.

Wanna bet Tim Russert never never mentions Kerry's 180 again?

Kerry stopped being a Catholic years ago if he thinks that the majority of us are for abortion.

And if he thinks Catholic moral teaching is determined by polls.
