Actually that is what I am asking Wal-Mart to do. Right now they "pay" their employees on our dimes. They do so throught numerous welfare programs and tax breaks. Force them to pay a decent wage and your taxes will go down. You will also sell more.
Make the new wage only applicible to large companies if you want to save the mom and dad shops. Just make sure Wal-Mart can't avoid paying those wages by hirings employees through sham small companies. They did this at the stores here. Paid their Janitors cash through a middleman who ofter hired illegals and seldom paid them. I often wondered if he really worked for Wal-Mart.
