But answer me this: What came before the .44 magnum? The .44 Special?
(Hey! Gimme a break, willya? I'm new at the deity stuff!)

I don't think I even owned a computer when that game came out.
I am looking forward to the movie.

No, the Big Bang is when you ask "Did the universe explode for you too?" Awwwww......
Rats!

Ummm, gravity? If all the other galaxies are receding from each other, why aren't the ones local to us doing the same? Gravity should act the same everywhere.
To: skip_intro; null and void
Gravity should act the same everywhere. One of the latest theories I heard, was that gravity can travel into alternate universes.
I'm just throwing it out that maybe some gravity "disappeared" into the alt universe, or maybe additional
gravity entered this universe.
That is, if you believe in alt universes.
To: skip_intro
Imagine to fragments of an explosion that are traveling nearly parallel paths. Because they started close to each other their mutual gravity will eventually draw them into converging paths.
It overwhelms the initial one time force of the explosion, as gravity is so darned persistent.
Bits that are blown onto divergent paths may have enough initial velocity (and enough competing gravitational pairings) that they don't ever approach each other.
OTOH, gravity is very persistent, maybe the entire universe will eventually slow its expansion, stop, and collapse back on itself.
The available data says that's to close to call just yet...

back in the DOS ages... I still have "Leather Goddesses". It can run on a Palm with the appropriate application.

I find this very amusing. I love to watch the Big Bangers run around chasing their own tails trying to explain how the universe and all life began by random chance, without an intelligent Creator. In the end all roads lead to God, but I guess some have to take the round-about way there.

One of the things I find confusing is that while the universe as a whole is expanding, the local group of galaxies, after expanding for billions of years, has started to contract. Eventually, Andromeda is going to pass right through the Milky Way. I wonder what it is about this part of the universe that causes this behavior.Michael Moore gravity field. Local effect, but a big one.

If you're going to use "to" for "two" and then, later, use "to" for "too" why don't you just use "2"?
