First I'll answer your question about an example of pro-illegal propanda. It seems like all tv and movies are replete with it. Even video games! To give a concrete example, play the Knights of the Old Republic computer game. There, there are poor aliens- space aliens in this context, but with obvious analogies to illegal Mexicans here. Anyway, in the game your character must always help them out and protect against abusive non-aliens. THere is even a lunatic guy you meet up raving about all the bad things aliens do. Its obviously an analogy to "xenophobic" people.

That is just insidious! I had no idea that the conspiracy to "Mexicanize" America was so wide spread. It seems I have done you and all of America a horrible injustice because I bought into the conspiracy of the rich and powerful.

As to why there is no strong national figure for the common people to rally around, the answer should be as obvious. Rising up requires support (and the lack of opposition) from the powers that be. Those powers that be - are they interested in stopping the flood of the labor market and preventing the American population from becoming a more governable Mexicanized mass?

It sickens me to think of all the time I spent playing Nintendo till dawn while good men like Tom Tancredo were sabotaged by the "Powers That Be."
