FITZ, the problem of violence in Mexico has nothing to do with illegal immigrants or President Bush.

And one more thing --- you are so very very wrong --- that corrupt oligarchy is exactly the same one making the conditions so bad for it's own citizens --- just so they'll move into the USA and send dollars back, not bothering with the murders of hundreds of women and girls, protecting it's lucrative drug trafficking business, writing comic books to encourage and show it's citizens how to break our laws, trying to end democratcy in the USA by turning to the UN to overthrow propositions the American citizens voted in, AND telling our government it cannot put out travel advisories. Incredible really that you don't see a problem.

When bayourod gets nervous that's when he turns into bayoufraud and starts changing attack angles.

Hey Rod, did your little Mexican lady grab your other name before MI beat you to death with it? Good idea! LOL

What bayourod doesn't understand --- or does understand but chooses to ignore or whatever --- is that the moment any controls are placed on immigration to the USA --- those corrupt Mexican government officials will have to start packing and quickly preparing for their European exile. Massive immigration to the USA is the only thing keeping them in power --- and everyone knows it. A very corrupt goernment is being kept in power by lax border control --- and millions of illegals coming over the border is exactly how our government helps keep them in power.

"Garza, the statement said, insisted that the State Department announcement did not recommend that Americans avoid traveling to Mexico, but only that they take precautions in specific areas.

Yeah, "precautions" like traveling via turreted armored car, and wearing kevlar vests.

Mexico is a joke and a giant parasite on our country, and every one knows it.

Seems everyone except the leftist and the President of the United States.

The Bush Administration's level of incompetence and negligence in addressing border security till now has been masked by the aftermath of 9/11, and wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

So exactly when does the President lift a finger to stop the open-wound hemorrhaging of American sovereignty at the Mexican border?

The evidence suggests he doesn't consider "it" a problem.

Even more mysterious is why he doesn't -- we're ALL ears if he's willing to let the rest of us in on his little secret.

I thought all the Buchanan pukes had slinked away forever after getting only four tenths of one percent of the vote after running one of the most racists campaigns in history. Why are you repeating their old slander?

For the record:

In the future, do yourself a favor and do some research before flying off the handle.

Yep! At least we are pursuing the terrorists in my own back yard:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/keyword?k=holylandfoundation

Keyword "Holy Land Foundation" articles there posted by me are
related to shutdown and trial of those idiots associated with
terrorists linked to Hamas, Infocom Corp. They say their
organization is a charity organization that helps out women
and children. Technically, I think they are correct. They
help women and children strap Semtex to their ar$e$ and then
walk into shopping malls, video parlors, restaurants, etc.
and then detonate bombs to kill innocent people in Israel
and elsewhere.

Cute, huh? Well, we got a conviction on these ar$ehole$ in
Richardson, Texas. See the D/FW (Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas)
note in your map noting "Hamas?" Chalk one up for the good guys.

That Holy Land Foundation location is only 15 minutes from
my front door.

Thank you President Bush, John Ashcroft and local Dallas
County prosecutors!

Trial to look at exports;
Texas Palestinians
(Infocom Corp, Holy Land Foundation, Hamas linked)

Excerpt:

Eighteen months ago, Attorney General John Ashcroft hailed the indictments of five brothers and their Richardson computer services company as a milestone in the Bush administration's efforts to eliminate sources of terrorist financing.

"Terrorist money men should know this," Mr. Ashcroft said during a nationally televised news conference from Justice Department headquarters. "We are hunting down the murderers you support, and we will hunt you down."

But the case set to go to trial Monday in a Dallas federal court bears only a passing resemblance to the grandiose scheme outlined by Mr. Ashcroft. It is more about corrupt business practices than providing support for terrorism.

Ghassan Elashi and his brothers, Bayan, Basman, Hazim and Ihsan, are accused of making illegal shipments of computer goods from their company, InfoCom Corp., to Libya and Syria, two nations the U.S. government has deemed sponsors of terrorism.

The trial is likely to center on voluminous documentary evidence. Testimony could begin by Wednesday, and the trial is expected to last at least two weeks.

The Elashis are part of a large Palestinian family well-known for active involvement in the local Muslim community, including the now-closed Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. They have pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Their attorneys, who are being paid through a legal defense fund established by fellow Muslims, contend the prosecution is unfair and tainted by political motivations.

"We're not Halliburton, so we're charged with crimes," said attorney Tim Evans, who helped assemble a team of other prominent defense attorneys because of what he perceived as a governmental assault on civil liberties.

Aren't you being redundant Joe?

He's still president isn't he? Would you suggest we place the blame somewhere else? Remain silent? Join a thread praising the closing of Iraqs borders?

Are your posts so cutting edge and remarkable that they are changing the actions of Congress? The world?

LOL! excellant post, Smartass.
I can see where you came up with your FR name...
;^D
BTW, here's an excellant statistic to post to the OBL crowd. Heather Mac Donald has testified before Congress before; check her bio page:
Heather Mac Donald

"in Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens."

Yet --- according to the politically correct, you are never to suspect a criminal is of the recently immigrated batch --- supposedly a long-time American hispanic --- maybe one who never immigrated but has lived in the SW for hundreds of years or a long ago immigrant family is just as likely to produce violent criminals.

I was recently chastised for believing that not all hispanic groups had equal rates of crime. Supposedly there is just as much a chance for one group as for another group to commit violent crimes --- so apparently it's a race link. Before this was pointed out --- I actually thought the non-immigrant group of Spanish surnamed or those with roots going back before the 80's or even more so the 50's were a low crime group.

A naked picture wouldn't hold that much power --- maybe it's a clothed picture of Rove --- maybe clothed in pink women's underclothes, or a chain around his neck. The Mexican leaders know they hold a lot of power over us for some reason.
