That would make sense. I just think Iraqis would want this to be a success for themselves but also to end the occupation--I mean, if we were occupied by friendly forces, I'd want them to leave, too, so it's not so much anti-American as pro-independence.

Yes, I agree with that. It really is about freedom's empowerment, which is exactly what Bush has been all about in addressing the situation.

Exactly.

People are by nature loyal to their own country. Iraqis are grateful for what we have done. But, they want us to hit the road....:)

I have nothing against them desiring that. I would want that if a force was in my country, even if they did good.
