Which is why they've been sending their people into Iraq to blow its citizens up.

In a sense, if this marks the turning point the Iraqi's will have played a big role in the future democratization of the Middle East. In liberating their neighbors. Quite a legacy.

Prayers for the 256th Louisiana Guardsmen of the 256th Brigade Combat Team stand next to Mardi Gras decorations on the door of the unit's mail room. The unit is planning some sort of celebration of Mardi Gras in Baghdad, Iraq.

I WAS SO DISGUSTED TO HEAR THAT KERRY WAS TO BE THE GUEST ON MTP. THIS IS WHAT I WROTE TO RUSSERT EARLIER THIS WEEK:

This Sunday is an historic day for the USA and for Iraq. What do you do? You invite John Kerry as your main guest. I can't believe it. What a poor choice. Your entire program should be about Iraq. Perhaps you can look back at its history, how Saddam came to power, etc.

Instead, we have to listen to a man who has done nothing but speak against our efforts in Iraq. Old Mr. Wrong War, Wrong Place, Wrong Time. My, won't that be uplifting?

I'm very disappointed. Count me out this Sunday.

That is an awesome reminder! Watched Trading Spaces on TLC the other night and they had Trading Castles--filmed in Great Britain. One of the castle owners was a real treat to watch--and he quoted William Wallace's speech before the battle. I don't think the designer (the older guy who I really like) understood what the Scotsman was saying--but it gave me chills!!

So am keeping him on--and will NOT go to anything that has NBC or MSNBC in it.

Me, too. The other stations would stoke me out.
