"Press is so eager for explosions and blood and good stories that they cannot just sit in wonder at what is happening here. This is amazing."

Yep. The MSM will cover this like the type of fans that go to hockey games and car racing to see brawls and accidents. I refuse to watch them and their sour grapes. Don't let them rain on your parade.

I pray today and everyday for the safety and security of our troops.

Lord, let the Iraqis demonstrate to the world the true meaning of FREEDOM.

Thank you thank you thank you! I had never seen that sculpture before. Absolutely beautiful. My wife will be thrilled to see it.

This can be that same opportunity for the people of Iraq. If they overcome the hate of the savages we are fighting, this can be the day the wall came donw for them. Call me naive but if Iraq can get this right, quite a few things are going to chance in the middle east.

Dog, I feel mildly blessed. I picked up a Digital HD cable box today from my cable company here in Toronto. I now get Fox News! CBC be dam*ed!

Gonna be an interesting night, for sure. At least now I can follow on a proper network.

We are spoiled. Imagine if we had random killings like the Iraqis. At least we know what neighborhoods to avoid {I think more of us are killed by crime than those in Iraq},,over there, it just happens. I would be in a state of constant anxiety. But I am a ninny.

That's Exhibit A in the evidence that the Democrats just don't get it. They are the party of smalltown political machines, that take tax money and give "jobs" to their pals who held signs at stop lights.

We are on the eve of something HISTORIC, and what do they do? Have their loser from the last election on, attempting to drag the spotlight back. Can't let it be about the Iraqi people our SOLDIERS have died for--it's gotta be about YOU YOU YOU.

The Reoublican party is FAR from my ideal, but the Dems are a bunch of image-obsessed runts who need the attention of others because they have hollow interiors.

The RATS Underground website resembles the sound of crickets.

They're toast - and they know it. (Then again, maybe they don't...)

PARTY ON!

Thanks I just found it too...It was written about a "man without a country" Quite a story in itself. I wonder if it's how the Iraqi feel scattered throughout the world....Now they can go home again honored and singing....

Dontcha hate that? Yet--Fox has been FANTASTIC most of the day. Even Shep Smith was PUMPED about the election--and I don't think he is a big Bush supporter. Still, he showed a long segment on the underground complex Saddam had built in his main building that we bombed--and even made a comment about him using oil-for-food money to build it while Iraqi people around him were starving!

Hopefully after Greta, Fox will go back to live coverage of the election.

I pray the Iraqi people show the courage I know they have and make sure our soldiers didn't die in vain.

We have people in this country complain they had to stand in line in the rain to vote. Bunch of weenies could take a lesson from the Iraqi people.

Weren't those underground bunkers something that Shep showed earlier today?

And he showed the booties and other chem gear that Iraqi soldiers used. Shep asked why they needed that stuff if they didn't have WMD.
