In the interest of sanity :), Location x3 begins shortly (7ET) on BBC and Romancing The Stone begins at the same time on FX.

Often times it's necessary to read FR while viewing something inane.

Any idea what FNC is talking about when they say "Who is trying to block President Bush's request for $80 billion for the military in Iraq"?

I could guess. Kennedy, Byrd, Boxer.....maybe Rangel, Weiner, McKinney.....

Outstanding work out there. Make sure to tell everyone there, all the best Americans, how much we appreciate you and the fine job you are doing there.

To: not2worry
He'll say the elections are nice but irrelevant because we still have troops there.

To: A Balrog of Morgoth
I think it is the usual suspects. They don't want the US to win so they will do everything in their power to hurt the military.

It's going to be an interesting editorial meeting tonight at the New York Times.

So, Kerry is going to be on MTP on a historic day such as this. Kinda like he tried to steal the limelight by having a midnight rally right after the Republican convention. I've never seen a bigger ego maniac in my life. What a dork.

To: Jet Jaguar
The number has just moved to 31 dead.

Iraqis voted Sunday in their country's first free election in a half-century and insurgents made good on threats of violence, launching three deadly suicide bombings and mortar strikes at half a dozen polling stations across Iraq. At least 14 people were killed, including five policemen. AP's choking on this story. The folks on CNN looked depressed this morning. That's always a good sign.

I guess a 60% turnout made our November election illegitimate. Of course the DU Dummies think the American people were stoopid in re-electing President Bush. They'll conclude the Americans hoodwinked Iraqis into choosing an American puppet regime. Turnout shmurnout will be the Left's argument.

Marc Ginsberg has the quote of the day on FOX.
 This election was showdown between:
 Bin Laden-ism vs Democracy
 And Democracy WON!
