It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
I thought they had forbidden cars to drive around in Baghdad for 3-4 days during election time so car bombs couldn't be used---

Can you imagine the modern socialist media reporting on Washington's crossing of the Delaware, or the Normandy invasion? What is it with the Left that they are so cowardly? When I near one I almost can't resist the temptation to tweak them in the nose or knee them in the groin.

I think there is going to be a lot of mayhem today. It's not too surprising. The MSM and the Insurgents are the reigning tag team Champions of the world. The insurgents will give the 5th Column Leftists in the MSM more than enough footage to work with.
Things would be so much easier if their polls were staffed by democrats.
Heard a "BOOM!" and then machine gun fire, which we are still hearing sporadically.
These are not unusual sounds for us at all, we just didn't want to hear them today.
They did forbid cars. Also, at the start of the election time, Fox mentioned that a vehicle had illegally been driving into the area.....that was almost two hours ago....is it the same vehicle? I don't know (I'm thinking not).

Frankly, all the terrorists have to do is set off loud fireworks and shoot machine guns into the air and this election will be declared a failure by 9am Baghdad time. The mediots are all just standing on the balcony of their hotel rooms listening to the distant booms and declaring a disaster.
