The spoilers are out in force. I think it is interesting that, while the President of the United States is the most powerful leader in the world, not for the least of reasons being that he has the most magnificent military the world has ever known at his disposal, the real power that he wields is in his ideas.

He's smart enough to have a loyal, seasoned staff of thinkers and planners. No one on this planet can do W's job in an intellectual vacuum.

Exactly! The two best Presidents in my 55 year old lifetime, in terms of principles. My only other choice would have been Dick Cheney with Rummy as Veep. Regardless, I hope Cheney and Rummy stay on board. Both extremly smart and seasoned.... Now, As for 08, I'm stalled on what I think would be a good fit in maintaining the momentum that W has in place. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I forgot to add that both had/have the courage and loyalty of their convictions for what is best for America. They measure up to Winston Churchill's resolve in his loyalty for Britain in that regard.

I sincerely hope that a carrier will be named after President George W. Bush; as was done for President Ronald Reagan. I campaigned for Reagan in 1964. I worked on Barry Goldwater's team trying to get Mr. Reagan elected. And I was only a kid. I was a gopher.

Looks as though their right to vote is giving the Iraqi's IN Iraq courage.

Hindsight is 20/20. I can see NOW why absentee voting was scheduled a day ahead of in-country voting.

This contagious optimism was part of the plan, I bet.

Nope. "Expatriot" is not a word, and has never been a word.
