fahklempt ain't in the dictionary,I'm German,hence the name dittmar,what does that mean?

It's a Yiddish word, with several different spellings (Fahklempt, verklempt, ferklempt are some that I've seen). Basically, it means "overcome with emotion"... and is a fitting word to describe how I felt too.
