I wonder if the Iraqis know how many of us (Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox) there are in the US busy praying for them?Earlier today I was praying that God would send a legion of angels to protect the Iraqis when they go to vote, and then I realized that he already has. They are wearing the uniform of the US Military.

We had a prayer meeting at work (a billion dollar company) along with the large business next door. We spent our lunch hour Thursday praying for the safety of the Iraqis, and that they would elect good and wise men to draft their new constitution. I recently reread Miracle at Philadelphia about the constitutional convention. The struggles they went through to come up with that document were incredible. It was God's grace that gave them what they came up with.
