The left specializes in cynicism, disdain, hautiness;
But the human heart longs for joy, for triumph, for the victory of the good guys.
And our troops have bought this joy with their blood. I know they look down from on high, knowing that they could not have brought any greater gift than this heartfelt jubilation, this liberation.

Beautiful pictures - thank you for all that posted them. I've been choking back tears watching the Iraqis in the US voting the past couple days - the applause, tears, etc.
I also think that everyone who was responsible for this election was trying to make it as fair and above board as possible. Maybe we can learn some things as we put together some election reform laws.
Can we get some of this blue ink stuff for the revote in Washington state?
If these were democRats, they would be using different fingers.
