Ted Kennedy is quite insistent on an exit strategy for Iraq. Perhaps he wouldn't mind sharing his exit strategy for Chappaquiddick?

He did have an exit strategy from a Buick, even if it was only for himself...

"Bring lots of tissue, you're going to need it. This is a beautiful thread and I wanted to make sure you folks have seen it.

I've never been prouder of my country than I am right now."

I just went thru the whole thread again and it gets better each time. I too think it's beautiful and extraordinarily moving. There is something so uplifting for the human spirit to see oppressed people experience freedom. God Bless All who made this day happen and keep them safe.

Seventy-year-old Iraqi exile Mehsin Imgoter holds his voting ballot up and begins to weep before putting it in the voting box in the Detroit suburb of Southgate, Michigan

Would love to know this man's story, all the pictures of him show such raw emotion.

Thank you so much for starting this fantastic thread.

And thank you President Bush for seeing so far beyond my shortsightedness, you truly lead the way. Thank you our priceless, precious Troops, of which my son is one serving in Iraq, for being so steadfast, loyal and brave. You have humbled us all, what a remarkable generation indeed.

Freedom is on the march. Millions of Iraqis left their homes and workplaces at risk of life and limb and showed up at the polls to express their voice. After more than 50 years, these people are finally seeing a chance at freedom.

My tremendous gratitude for the valor and sacrifices of the American and coalition troops who made this possible. God bless the soldier.

When I think about Elian Gonzalez's betrayal by Janet Reno et. al., the rage I feel is nearly uncontrollable. We watched while a tyrant Reno entered a private home in America with machine guns and removed a freed child from that loving home and returned him to an uncaring father and a country enslaved by the monster Fidel. I'm still praying for justice.

What Jake Reno and the Clintoon administration did to Elain was a terrible crime.

It was one of those defining moments for me. Anyone, who backed Jake Reno and the Clintoons in this outrage, became a non person to me. I stopped speaking to them after I explained I wanted nothing to do with criminals who kidnapped an innocent orphan to return him to Castro.

Oh, my god, whoever you are! What a combination of photos of little Elian at gunpoint and the crying Iraqi's eyes. I will never be the same again. Those photos together are truly worth thousands of words (and tears).

You and I agree. It was worse than an outrage. And we could do nothing but watch it happen. That is how far our country has fallen from justice. Thugs are in control. We need to hear the Ukrainians' call for freedom. We need a stubborn revolution where vast numbers of us refuse to remain enslaved by tyrants like Reno, Kennedy, Clinton, Boxer, et. al., ad nauseum. We may have no choice but to take our country back.

We have come a long way since then.

The thugs no longer control our nation.

However, in 2008, we will be in peril again, should the rats win.
