Nashville, Tennessee..
Isn't it incredible?
Those are wonderful - thank you!
You know, the fellow in that photo looks like the guy in one of the photos over at Radioblogger who met up with another Iraqi at the polling place in El Toro, California that he hadn't seen in 50 years, since they were both boys in Iraq~!

I am sitting here crying!
BTTT for freedom!!!
bttt
This is a great day for all freedom-loving people. It does my heart good to see those beautiful faces, crying for joy. Let's all celebrate!!
I'm sure she never thought she'd live to see this day. Amazing isn't it?
Outrageous photo! Nice patch of grass he's got going there. Using scissors reminds me of the "old school" Asian women in the neighborhood. This has to be very therapeutic for him.
I was thinking the same thing. It's too bad that all those soldiers down range will not see what their hard work & sacrfice has done, not only in Iraq, but world wide. And the only reason is the MSM does not want today to be successful.

In all honesty, I have been dreading today. I was afraid for my son in Iraq, but after seeing all these pictures, I am somewhat ashamed of my selfish attitude. The look on these Iraqi's faces and to actually see the joy in their eyes of being able to do something we Americans have taken for granted for over 200 years is amazing. I too wonder if my son actually realizes what he is a part of, someday he will, but for now he is just a kid who wants to come home and drive his truck...
Seen and bookmarked!
The word that keeps coming to mind is "jubilation". This is a day the Iraqis won't forget.
Thanks for the ping!
"Can you imagine how GW and the gang feel right about now? Can you imagine how those troops in Iraq feel? God almighty, we're just looking at pictures, they're DOING it! They're giving this country a fighting chance.
God bless 'em every one, I say."
Amen.
It's like the whole country is saying "In your FACE, Zarqawi."
And they said it couldn't happen.
The capacity of the human race to surprise me is undiminished. May God bless the brave Iraqi people.
Nor us here on Free Republic. Our support for the troops, for this policy, for Iraqis, for freedom, for this President, for our children on the ground in the region, for our fellow Freepers fighting, for those we've lost, those we love in this foreign land... we'll remember.
We can hold our heads high and share in the power of this historic moment. Bless the Iraqis for coming out to vote, seizing the opportunity granted.
