Yes, it does sound simple to you and me. But how do they rationalize the claim that abstinence results in more cases of HIV and STDs? Any ideas? (I know a Ph.D who made this statement, and he inferred that he had read scientific evidence.)

Their rationalization is that because humans - especially adolescents - have absolutely no control over their sex impulses and are essentially no different than rutting animals, teaching abstinence is unnatural, because no one can scientifically remain abstinent. Their argument is that it's like trying to teach a pig to sing - wastes time and annoys the pig. So when kids are taught that abstinence is a good tactic to remain disease and unwanted pregnancy free, they become discouraged and ignorant and go out and rut like crazy without any condoms, since they don't know what they are; not having been taught in school.

Their view of humans is that we are nothing but animals. Actually animals have more regulation and order than what their view of humans is.

They have no science to back up their claim. It is merely the screeching and howling of those who are filled with anger and peurile lust for power.
