Sacramento Warehouse goes up in large fire

A furnature warehouse has gone up in a large fire at the intersection of Stockton and Alhambra in East Sacramento. Roads are closed and homes being evacuated.

Because it is a very large fire from the descriptions I am hearing, and homes around the area are being evacuated. Isn't this the type of thing the Breaking News topic was made for?

Fine with me since its news and apparently breaking.After the Breaking News requirements were tightened,I don't think the sidebar is overloaded.The bottom story on my Breaking News sidebar is from January 24th.So,I would think we could let major fires including evacuations in our big cities in.
