The Iraq war and John F. Kerry's crushing loss appear to have convinced Jacque Chirac to go ahead with plans to start a government-funded international news network.
Chirac is calling it "CNN à la française."
He hopes to "make France radiate" around the world.
He ought to study Air America and perhaps get some tips from Al Franken.

Well, it already radiates "frenchity". Maximal tolerated dose is rather low for humans, but cockroaches for some as yet unknown reason seem to be highly resistant.
