Solid water has more volume than liquid water.

Normally this is true; also for antimony making both water and antimony anatomies.

However, at high pressure, water forms other structures, Ice II, through Ice IX (missing one I think.) These are all denser than water. Ice is really tough to model mathematically.

Solid water has more volume than liquid water. Spoken like a person that errantly thinks that ice breaks the pipes during a freeze when actually it is the cold water. I do wish y'all would take some basic physics classes ...
