He better watch his back. The Clintons are not exactly happy with Dean and I think if they have their way want FROST to win.

"The field could be narrowed in the next few days, as state party chairs and organized labor offer their views on the race."

This will tell the tale of who will be the 'lucky' guy.

I want it to be Dean. He will pull the Democratic party so far to the left that moderate democrats will totally turn against the party.

yup......he is a good fund raiser which is what the DNC really does but pulling the party to the Micahel Moore and Babs Boxer extreme will not be a healthy idea......yet they will do it and then wonder again why they are losing the people more and more.......it is like an alcoholic hitting bottom....sometimes you have to go all the way down

Interesting...we all know the real war for control is between Kerry/Kennedy wing and the Clinton/Clinton wing.

This random idea came up during a conversation with a few others:

Is Mrs. Clinton is going to set up her own party? Put nothing past her. With the public looking at the liberal Dem's as nut cases - allowing Dean to take over the DNC, would give her cover to run right, taking money and people like Lieberman with her.

If Ickes is backing Dean, then it means the Toons have found a way to get their hooks into Howie.

I doubt that Ickes would have said this if the clintons didn't give him permission. Some of these folks are leftwingnuts, and some are corrupt. Ickes is corrupt.

I confess, though, that I don't understand it. I think Dean is fairly honest, more ideologue than manipulator. Maybe hillary thinks he would appeal to young idealists who don't much like her, and thus widen the base for her run.

It's a continuation of the forty year old division of the Democrat Party between the Northeast and Southwest.

Todays it's Hilary representing the Northeast and Richardson representing the Southwest.

Let's hope Hillary wins because we might not be able to overcome Richardson's lock on the Hispanic vote.
