If Jesus was a homosexual, then...then..."The DiVinci Code" must be a HOAX!!! (/sarcasm)

Men in high profile positions always did have another with them, at all times. There wasn't the present day security there is now. For security reasons, they had a body guard with them at all times, even if not called a body guard. They were not, allowed to be alone in a hotel room!!

In some correspondence of the time, their contemporaries refer to Senator King (who was later Vice President in the Pierce Administration) by the moniker of "Aunt Nancy".

Interesting historical note: the infamous King County (noted for vote fraud in the recent WA gubernatorial election) was named after VP King, as the county where Tacoma, WA was simultaneously named after President Franklin Pierce.

Well, lo and behold, it turns out that the said VP King was a slaveholder, and this just couldn't do for the county that houses the People's Republic of Seattle, so about twenty years ago, they renamed the place after Martin Luther King, Jr., mainly to save printing costs of signs and stationery. The only group that thought about protesting were the gays, but even they figured it best to keep silent on this, eventually.

Nothing, except Abe was President, and a man was laways with the Pres. much like the SS today. Also rooms were at a premium then, you took what was available. Women took rooms together too. No sexual overtone back then.

Gays are going to make every historical figure gay now.

My first reaction to this claim was that it falls into the "Beethoven was black" category of total nonsense.

Maintain your ping list on a text file. Put the all the names on a single line and separate them with semicolons. That way, you can copy and paste those names into the "To:" field of the applicable post.

i had always heard of Buchanon being gay (no wife and all) and that Abe LIncoln was bisexual but never acted on those tendencies supposidly. They look at some of his letters for the evidence of that. I'm willing to believe it.

Given the stigma attached to homosexuality in Lincoln's time, don't you think that Abe would have been a little more discrete if anything was going on? Seems to me that he would not have left hotel records showing he shared a bed with a man unless it was an innocent, common practice.

Hey, great pics of Medved. He looks very nice. I love his show. I think he is just about the best out there. I heard that silly Russ guy. I know Medved, likes to debate, but I don't think he should have given that idiot a forum. He was all over the map. He would go on about Israel and Medved would try to debate him then he would switch to Iraq. Didn't know the idiot was so old--he sounded like he was a college age.

A friend of mine (Mike Kauffman) just published a new book about the Lincoln Assassination. It's called "American Brutus: John Wilkes Booth and the Lincoln Conspiracies." I highly recommend it for those who are Lincoln assassination buffs. I'm about half-way through my copy. It's a tough book to put down.

"one guy found some records where abe slept in a hotel with some man. And this proves exactly what?? Just silly."

Exactly. Back then everybody shared beds. You paid 25-50 cents to get a spot in the bed. 3-4 men would sleep that way. Hell, nobody ever claimed the Three Stooges were gay and they slept together all the time in their movies. Of course, several were actually brothers, so where's the claims of incest between the Stooges?

let us also not forget the nature and intimacy of the language used.

Writing "My Dear Friend" or "Dearest Friend" was not poofy.

ACTUAL letter writing is a lost art. We are now placed into ;-) and :-) or :-P with 180 character limits.

The homosexuals use historic ignorance to lie about the innocent acts into perverted.

What next, are they going to say the far neater penmanship makes this girly?
