"
...Pataki or former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani decided to do so. Neither is expected to seek the Senate seat, and both are potential 2008 presidential candidates."
Yeah, right.

they should be looking for a celebrity to take a shot at it, too bad Donald Trump wouldn't go for it.

I still think Rudy is the best person to run against Hillary in 2006.

He's Nixon's son-in-law. The Clintons will show that he was the drving force behind Watergate if he runs against Mrs. Clinton.

I agree Rudy is the man to do this
Still if no one else pops up this Cox guy is better than nothing - you never know she could have a heart attack on the campaign trail or something

if Rudy runs, she will not. she cannot afford to lose, she will just move to the presidential race in 2008.

I'm not a big fan of The Don, but it would be real funny to hear his stump speech.

Related to Reagan, maybe. Related to Nixon? I don't think so.

I agree, Rudy would be best choice, but he has never come through for the party in NYS.

WOW! That's really gonna scare The Hildabeast. Love them "Two-Party Cartel" moves. Then the pubbies can put up that strong man n the Senate -Billie boy Frist. The Hildabeast walks in & destroys the minuscule conservative agenda of 8 yrs in 3 months. Now you know the rest of the story.

So they are conceding her reelection. Give her a Nixon connection to run against? Why not just give her the spot on the Republican ballot?

There's no need for her to. She can drag him through so much mud, that his career would be doomed anyway, and she's a clinton, the sewage always wipes off, with a nice new shine.
And just for the record, I am embarrased that Hillary Clinton is a senator from my state.
