Well, what I pick up reading the threads is that there will be a BOI,,Board of Inquiry ,, that will take place and they may have something to say in 6 months.

The fact that this seamount wasn't on the Navy charts probably means, this whole thing is gonna take awhile.

See that link at post #44 for a lot of detail, about who laid the route , etc,... apparently not the commander of the sub.

There could be other people that might be subject to some kind of discipline action.
That is my speculation though.
