A lot of truth to that statement seems that most presume that aliens will more or less mirror us, in some common form or fashion.
What’s to say we won’t even be able to comprehend their “form” much less begin to understand them when they make themselves known to us, if they even can. They could possibly be so far removed from what we have accepted as “life” you and I could be staring at one now and not even realize it.
I’ve always said that there is life out there, it’s just too odd to accept that we are it, the best God could do among all those billions and billions of star.
A civilization of aliens my not even be a civilization as we know it, again it could be so far removed from what we have accepted that we have no clue what we are looking at, same goes for laws of physics we accept them as the last word, the end all be all…
What’s to say “their laws of physics” would be so far ahead or removed from ours that we would scoff and say cannot be done only the supernatural would work like that or it would be so shocking to us it would affect our very sanity.
