Why Islam does not belong in America (Freeper Alert on Islamist Alert--Who's Watching Who?)
CAIR-NET ^ | 27 Jan 2005 | CAIR

Posted on 01/27/2005 6:48:20 PM PST by Cornpone

The concept of culture seems to have eluded the political left in America. By this I don't mean good music, art and cinema - although a quick glance at what passes for entertainment today certainly reinforces such a judgment. I mean culture in the wider sense, for it is culture that underlies and therefore determines the values and manner in which the majority of people in a nation live their daily lives.

The culture of the Western world grew out of Christian values. Among these are the immense value and significance of each human life, as demonstrated by God's willingness to sacrifice his own son, Jesus, rather than destroy humanity because it had failed to meet His standards. Another is the concept of human equality: Our differences shrink to insignificance when confronted with the glory, power, holiness and majesty of God. Thus with the widespread growth of Christianity, earthly kings suddenly found themselves accountable to God for the governing decisions they made. "Lex Rex" turned the world on its head, and ultimately helped give birth to America.

Today, there is another culture vying for America's attention. The values underlying this culture are watered from the deep springs of Islam. We see it expressed in "honor killings," forced religious conversions, women held as property and the slaughter of noncombatants to generate a day's headlines

Good, so now were getting somewhere... how to you make the "true believers" adapt if they're here already?

Say for example, years down the road, Muslims were a majority in an area, and voted in sharia or aspects of it, or changes to the law to allow them to do this, or decided they wanted an "islamic homeland"...

I'm not trying to put you on the spot here... just wondering what ideas you may have.

A "true believer" is a purist.

One who follows the examples of Muhammed and interprets the Quran as the undeniable words of Allah as revealed to Muhammed. They will know all about Muhammeds wars of territorial expansion and that the earlier suras that espouse tolerance have been abrogated by the later intolerant verses.

Any modification or watering down of this ideology is considered bidah.

In short, if they good Muslims they follow the examples and teachings of the so called "prophet" to the letter. Do you agree? I'm aware there are many who call themselves Muslim, and they may be good people, but they're not what the purists would call a "good Muslim."

Your definition of true Muslim is different from that of many Muslims.

To be honest, I think you're onto something here... on one hand we have the "true believers" and then we have those that the cult claims or are Muslim in name only.

The latter may need a term to distinguish them from the former, but I'm not sure that they will want to be labeled as something describing them as "Muslims in name only."

Muhamhead (may he wallow in pig poop) was a terrorist before the world had even coined the word.

True, and those "true believers" must either adapt, or they are not welcome.

Exactly.

When their numbers increase to a more favorable point in this country where they can affect change through politics, or through violence and politics which is their usual method what will you do leave, convert, become a lower form of life or die?

Those are your choices.

There is no live and let live, or neutrality with this hideous dictatorial ideology disguised as religion.

With your thinking Hitler could have conquered Europe destroyed the Jews then called Nazism a religion and you would have invited him and his two million storm troopers over here for a spiritual revival.

Sheeeesh! Heaven help this country.

And observant Muslims believe that Allah's law, careful following of Islam and Shariah, take precedence over all other laws. Isn't that also true?

Maktub! (Because it's written in the Quran/Hadeeths)

Personally, I believe that there are many facets of Islam that must be reformed

It CANNOT be reformed because its "holy" books demand an immediate death sentence for anyone who tries to reform or even question it.

You either don't know what you are talking about or are just trying to lull the infidel to sleep for an easier kill according to your Koranic virtue of lying.

Well if laws interfere with my religious freedom, I don't have religious freedom.

"Listen to our President on this one."

No, YOU listen to our President!
He doesn't speak for me on this issue. I'm not a robot.

Islam is a cult of the devil, and it's purpose is to destroy every religion in the world except Islam.
Whether or not they succeed depends on how long it takes us to wake up.

Response to Post #34

“Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

This was the sentiment of Omar M. Ahmad, the Chairman of the Board of the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR, as told at an Islamic conference held in Freemont, California, in July of 1998.

I know that. I am approaching the point from left field that there really is no Religious Freedom unless the religion fits within the law.

It is happening right across our porous border with Canada in the name of multiculturalism.
