Oh yeah, he can be mean to Michael Moore all day long and double on Sundays and it's okay with me. It's just the putdowns of the 'man on the street' I don't like. I don't like it on Sean Hannity's show either.

They can go after the leftists all they want, and I'll laugh along all day long.

You will love it. I am a newbie myself. Only signed up last april. It's highly addictive, especially on days that the media has gotten hold of something and won't let it go. (much like a chihauhau? with a person's derierre) It's also fun on days that good news hits, such as the day Saddam was captured or the Pres. went to BAghdad for Thanksgiving.

Speaking of originals, has anyone here ever seen any of the Tuna shows or tapes? I have seen Tuna Christmas in person twice and have the DVD. If you're from the sticks, especially Texas, you haven't lived until you've seen the Tuna comedies.

Waving my hand here wildly from lurkdom...been so busy with work that I don't have time to post much! I've also seen Tuna Christmas twice. Being from a small town in Texas (population of less than 3000), I can definitely appreciate the humor. Those two guys are absolutely hilarious!!

***Sometimes I wonder how in the world our President and VP and others at that level live with the intensity and emotion they must deal with in their lives.***

I wonder about that, too. I would guess having many good friends to share the anger or the injustice helps a great deal. And I'm sure that the President and the Vice President have MANY good friends. But it doesn't hurt if we email them and just say how much we appreciate what they're doing.

I don't know...I kinda like being called snooty. It has a certain cachet, don't you think? From now on, you can call me Buffy, or Muffy, or Princess. LOL

I have found a kindred soul!

Who is your favorite character?

My favorite character is DeeDee, the gravel-voiced bloodthirsty chain-smoking gun shop owner. For all the rest of you, DeeDee's business slogan is "If we can't kill it, it's immortal." All spoken in a deep Tuna, Texas twang, of course. And her favorite phrase is G*#...........d*#n, vehemently spoken with about a two-minute pause in between the words. Her mother is getting senile and keeps wandering into the dynamite storage rooms and lighting matches.

The radio station is station KKKK, and the residents all faithfully attend meetings of the Smut Snatchers Society at the local Baptist Church. One Christmas they banned Silent Night because they wanted no part of Round Young Virgins.

Anyway, you get the idea. It's a two-man show, and these two comedians play all the parts. It's beyond hysterical, especially if you're a redneck from the sticks of Tx or OK.

LOL! To each his own, I guess. Since no one named kitkat could ever be snooty, from now on we will refer to you as Princess Buffy.

Yes, they have good friends, I'm sure. I think you would have to have someone who was a complete confidante. You still couldn't share many things because of security. I suspect they have to work very hard to stay on an even keel.

I also have a feeling that's part of the reason for the obvious closeness between W and Dick Cheney. Maybe they can share some things with each other that no else can really share with them.
