If it turns out he was getting paid for it, that sheds a whole new light on his behavior.

Two great minds.

The sad part is....me and my hubby voted for him. Ain't that the kicker?

"Problem is Carter is misguided but not a traitor, and people who dont know the difference are bound to make all kinds of mistakes."

Carter isn't miguided. He put his own desire for a legacy above the best interests of The Republic. Even at the expense of it.

Benedict Arnold did much the same.

Lots of people do lots of things everyday that may or may not be in the best interests of the republic. A traitor knows when he is selling out his brothers, and acts only in his own interest. There is a way to go before silliness and incompetence equal treason. When half the country are traitors, there is something wrong with the term.

If Carter gained favors from the Hussein regime in exchange for using his influence to oppose the US' Iraq policy, that is not going to go away easily.

Misguided???.....please provide more info...you saying this country elected a President with a low I.Q.? Carter KNEW and KNOWS what in the heck he is/was doing....your responses in this thread seem like the usual Dem tactic of portraying ignorance as an excuse....

>There have been quite a few traitors who've served in the armed forces< Such as one with his eye on the White House verrrry recently. And one who scceeded for one deadly tern, "Anythang for a buck Jimmah" who helped get rid of the Shaw of Iran, and gave away the Panama Canal.

And not such a few who are still serving on the Hill in Washington. Serving who?

but naive, simpleton, no backbone, easily influenced, poor leader

...senile, hen-pecked, clueless, vain...for sure. Traitor?, Yes. ..remember his pleads to the Stalinist Soviets (in 1984) to do something about R.W.R. and continues, to this day, to work against Modern Democracy. Yes. He is a Traitor like ; "Jihab Johnny", Jim "Baghdad" McDermott, Usama O'Murray, "Swimmer" Kennedy, "Hanoi Johnny" Kerry, Bubba "Chinese Kookie"/"Chinese Rocket" Klintoon and "Heil" $hrillary Klintoon. All Traitors, there is no other explaination.

Problem is Carter is misguided but not a traitor, and people who dont know the difference are bound to make all kinds of mistakes.

Carter's verbal delivery, just as Kerry, and now both Clintons are traitors in my personal perspective. When these excuses for Americans make their statements, they are causing DEATHS of AMERICANS.

This, to me is unacceptable behavior. One American death by this behavior should be traded by one traitor. So, by my count, I'm up to four. I'd trade four United States Marines for the above mentioned traitors mentioned above.

BTW, I don't put flowers in my ordnance.

My wife has a few libs from Church who visit, and they freak out when they see the gun racks on the wall, and ask what is in the ammo safe (over 10k rounds).

None of my business, but I would suggest that you cool your jets here.

We are AMERICANS, and do not like those politicians who jeopardize American lives for political purposes. Please observe and learn.

Thanks, Race. ...those were the threads I remembered...esp. the soviet one.

...btw, Why hasn't Jimmah CarTURD answered those questions? ...perhaps "Miss Lilian" was correct; when she said, "She should not have had Jimmah." :))

There is a similar story out there about Ted Keddedy most of the details of which I have forgotten. It was about a trip he took to Moscow right after Reagan was elected.

I have difficulty believing at times that the state that produced Zell Miller also produced Jimmy Carter. But then again, every state (and every country) has its Village Idiot.

Problem is Carter is misguided but not a traitor

Carter gave aid and comfort to the enemy when he negotiated with the KGB to keep Reagan out of office, and if you dont think that is treason, you are a leftist.
