They had some pyschologist in the article I read last summer basically stating you have to feel sorry for the granddaughter--she's just lost her grandparents. That's the kind of idiocy and misplaced sympathy that's producing the monsters we are seeing in these stories.

He obviously checked his brain at the door! Did he remember that she "lost" them because she killed them?

Total insanity!

Found some more information on Sarah Kolb at:

http://www.qctimes.com/internal.php?story_id=1044442&l=1&t=Local+News&c=2,1044442

Kolb had been a student at Rock Island High School, where former classmates categorized her as “a Goth” who often wore all-black clothes and black-and-white makeup.
.
“She very much stood out in school,” said Auston McLain, 19, a former classmate. “Sometimes she was gay and sometimes she was bi(sexual).
.
“Her mom is so nice — very smiley, very supportive of Sarah being a lesbian,” he said.
.
Others at the Outreach Center, however, described Kolb as being jealous of Reynolds because she was catching the eye of so many boys at the school.
.
Authorities are not yet prepared to share their theory on why the girl was murdered.

How right you are. Like a parent killer asking for mercy because he is an orphan. We need to get back to right and wrong, good and bad instead of this "healthy/unhealthy" crap and relative morality.
