On a public records search for Nate Gaudet I've found that he was charged also with public unlawful use of a weapon and disorderly conduct in 11/03....interesting statement on his juvenile character.

I wonder why those records aren't sealed. Aren't juvy records normally sealed?

And, yeh, I think Gaudet is definitely a bad news character. I can see how he could have gotten drawn in unaware to the hacking up of the body on Sunday. But the supposed fact that he didn't come forward w/ what he knew (his mother & grandmother called the authorities on Wednesday according to accounts), is a big statement as to his character.

Thanks for the tip...I went to the Rock Island Cty Court site & did a little digging. Gaudet was charged w/ 'unlawful use of a weapon' 5/22/02...when he was 13. The 'disorderly conduct' charge was 2/10/03 (age 14). The 11/03 date is 'last upload'...scan down & look for 'Initial Open Date'. We may be looking at only the tip of the iceberg.
