I'm eighteen. Teenagers and parents fight. Maybe a little differently in a "liberal" household than yours, but me and my father have a decent relationship and that was one incident that is behind us both.

And is it too much to hope an old friend makes it through such a situation alright? The alledged act is sickening, but I had -JUST- read about it when I posted and had no idea of the details. My goodness.

Fighting and threatening a parent's life are two entirely different things. I had some battles with my parents but I'd hate to think what would have happened to me if I'd thereatened their lives. I'd never even venture the thought!

Isn't that just what your "friends" did to that poor innocent girl? They gagged her with a belt and by strangulation. Not only did they destroy her life by murdering her in cold blood but they also tried to destroy her body.
