..and unless I miss my guess...
It looks like they brought part of the mountian home with them!
Those are big rocks stuck in the sonar space and lower left ballast tank.
Click on the link under the photos for the high res version, it's like viewing the damage through a microscope (>20 mega pixels). I don't think those are rocks.
