The Confederate flag did "unite". It united a group of people with common beliefs against a government they believed was usurping their states rights.
A common cause not unlike any other cause, from the Boston Tea Party, to the Revolution, to Civil Rights, to leftover 60's hippies who bitch about everything.
The basic question is not, if a right exists to honor a flag that stands for the beliefs of people, but moreover, WHO'S RIGHTS WILL GET PRECEDENCE. Will it be the PC crowd, who basically have villinized the Stars and Bars to win minorities over to their causes, or will it be the people who are demanding their rights?
And, I wouldn't worry about the Georgia economy if I were you, we'll be just fine.
Oh, and it's "hardcore...not "hard corps".
