When the flag was changed in 1956 was there a statewide vote? If not, why the call for one now?

Because though there was no statewide vote when the state flag was dictated to us by the liberals/lessers, in order for them to be lesser there must a firm grounding on which we stand, that makes us able to claim the higher authority.

That grounding is principle. And it is for principle that the people of Georgia decide for themselves - which ever way they decide..
