This is pretty good news IMO. I'd like to see them investigating what happened down in Racine County as well, with the vanloads of Illinois residents coming up here to vote early and often.

Well certainly we can expect Sen. Boxer and Rep. Conyers to lead the effort to find out what happened here.
And of course, pigs will be airborne by lunchtime.

If I recall correctly Wisconsin has same day registration. This has got to stop. Glad to hear that this is being pursued.

Exactly. There are thousands more votes than voters in Washington.

"see if there was voter fraud or not."
My money's on "or not."
To: Kryptonite
Did you read where Barrett said he has faith in the election process in Mil.? He'd be the ONLY one, I guess! This is great stuff...is it time to call Wisconsin for Bush...or should we wait a little longer?
To: Kryptonite
If law enforcement and the judiciary don't get serious about voter fraud, our democracy is in serious trouble.

Maybe we can get FReeper republican4ever to email her since he has an inside edge with Boxer's office:

I'm sure that, since she is so gung-ho about election fraud and reform, she would be willing to look into this Wisconsin issue and maybe issue a statement or something, huh?

Thanks for the ping.
For those not familiar with US Attorney Steve Biskupic or Milwaukee County DA E. Michael McCann, here's a quick primer. Biskupic has been a pit bull on prosecuting fraud by political types (several Milwaukee aldermen and a state Senator are behind federal bars). McCann (unaffectionately known as McCan't) hasn't met a political fraud case he didn't softpedal and plead down to nothing.

Yep. Notice that it came from the mouth of the dem DA - I thought the same thing - he'll try to slant it toward the "or not" angle.
But Biskupic and the feds will be a problem for the DA's plan.
At a minimum, whether they conclude there was widespread fraud or simply incompetence, or a measure of both, this investigation will be critical toward changing the registration and voting processes, and that is long overdue.
Wisconsinites believe Kerry won their state less and less with each passing day, and that has all the politicians nervous.

The RATS want to talk about vote fraud? BRING IT ON!

If I recall correctly Wisconsin has same day registration. This has got to stop. Glad to hear that this is being pursued. You recall correctly. All one needs is a cable bill, or failing even that, someone to "vouch" that he or she is eligible to vote. If one is in Racine (where 30 vanloads were schlepped into one polling place and another had a table run by DemonRATs who matched up ID-less people with people willing to swear to the lie), they're there forever because Racine refuses to even attempt to verify the information (a violation of state law).

Un-friking-believable. What in invitation to fraud. Worse is that some "Americans" would prostitute themselves to do this. If there was a reason for felons (like these individuals) to be disenfranchised for the rest of their lives, this is it.
