First of all Wolves are not a treat to Humans. Whales is a long time source of income for Norwegians. The other animal is Called Jerv in Norwegian. Dont have a clue what the name is in English. "Natural" course of death is falling of cliffs, getting sick etc
We have a similar problem here in Nebraska, sir.
One usually associates "deer" with woodlands, meadows, forests, trees, and all that, but there have always been plenty of deer on the wide open prairies.
In fact, they can be a nuisance here (property damage because motorists accidentally collide with them); I read somewhere--definitely not an envirowacko publication though--that Nebraska today has more deer than it has ever had since the Creation, despite our rather easy deer-hunting laws.
Oh so as long as their as income to be made, it's ok to kill them off? How do you feel about cockfighting, fox hunting and dog fighting?
