The BM made a huge hullaballoo over this and ridiculed Falwell nonstop for weeks on end as being paranoid, delusional, hateful etc. But something smelled rotten to me. If it's Falwell who was launching this big anti-Tinky Winky crusade I asked myself, then how come it was not he who called the press conference? How come it's a HyperLib group like PAW?
So I dug a little deeper by going to online conservative sites, and sure enough the truth was there! It turns out that Falwell was just as surprised to hear the news about his big crusade as anyone else. The real story is that a writer who worked for one of Falwell's publications was discussing the increasingly pervasive presence of gay themes on TV, and mentioned Tinky Winky in passing.
This cartoon character is depicted as a male who carries what looks exacly like a purse, he has an inverted triangle on top of his head (the gay symbol) and is colored lavender (the gay movement's chosen color). As a result of this, Tinky had long since been adopted by gay websites and other gay media as an unofficial mascot, with his image appearing all over the place. Although most owners of cartoon copyrights vigorously defend their property rights with legions of lawyers who sue anyone who uses their creations without authorization, for some strange reason Tinky's owners never seemed to mind his image appearing all over the Gay Universe.
So the bottom line is that one writer in one of Falwell's newsletters mentioned Tinky and his connection to the gay movement in passing, and the ever vigilant PAW spun it as a Big Crusade by Falwell against a cartoon character. The BM joined in as their willing accomplices, bringing a landslide of scorn down onto Falwell's head.
And now this week we have the BM lying about Dobson vs. SpongeBob. History repeats itself!

I'm not saying that everyone the Left attacks and hates is a "martyr for Jesus"; some bring it on themselves by being obnoxious! But I think that Dobson is hated because of Whom and what he stands for.
This is so that the "legitimate" journalists who look into the story by visiting the "We Are Family" website (as opposed to "illegitimate" Pajamahedin journalists) will see no traces of the homosexual agenda, and can then report to the nation that Dobson is full of it.
OTOH, those ever-annoying Pajamahedin will go out and use their sneaky, underhanded technique of finding cached versions of the website to demostrate all kinds of evidence of the homosexual agenda just recently deleted from the website. But of course, the kneejerk apologists for the homosexual agenda - i.e. the Media and a number of Freepers on these threads - know better than those scurrilous Pajamahedin!

Note - isn't it amazing how shameless these people are? Trying to hide their real agenda by removing incriminating homo-indoctrination junk from their website(s), knowing full well that Google has it. And freepers will post it for all the world to see.

I hope the lurkers and media types are taking notes - and copying material.
Too bad Rush is such a slacker on moral issues. I rarely listen to him any more. I don't think that his heart is in the wrong place; it's more likely that his vision is clouded due to his own moral failings and the lack of desire to fully face them. Just my speculation.
Sometimes he'll give a good rant; but mostly he's just talking about politics as a chess game or something. Unless he's changed lately.
