O ye prognosticators of FR what is the significance of this event? Is it without meaning? Is it insignificant because it involves a jewish synagogue and not a christian church?

There is an interesting story within this story. Pashtuns are believed by some to be descended from the Ten lost tribes. One can easily learn more by googling Ten lost tribes
There is anecdotal stories of Pastuns seeking Jewish ceremonial objects for healing. These accounts would seem to verify those stories. Pastuns are the largest tribe in Afghanistan.
I am not a believer in those legends. However this does seem to verify some of those claims.
