You don't need to go to Mexico there are plenty of cities in California that will make you think you are in Mexico!

Mexico has been a hellhole since its revolution in the early 20th century. I've always, always been grateful that the territory that became the United States was not settled predominantly by the Spanish. Those lands that were colonized by Spain have not thrived as well in their laws, management, government processes, etc.

Mexico has been a hellhole since its revolution in the early 20th century. Not long ago --- 20 to 30 years ago most of Mexico was very safe to travel into. The rate it's coming unglued is amazing.

I was really wondering why any American would travel in Mexico. I'll go to a border town during the day and not get past the first block but that's as far as I'll go. It's bedlam down there!
