Ah! I love Dennis Prager too!! Nobody up here carries him. : ( (I'll bet that was awesome!)
Michael is a practicing Orthodox Jew and therefore does no labor on the Sabbath. Driving is considered labor among practicing Jews. Riding, but not driving, in a car may not necessarily be considered labor. Practicing Jews obey all the Commandments (which are given to ALL Jews and Christians) including this commandment:
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it."
Yeah, he's a great guy. He's both deeply and unashamedly religious - and open minded.
He's on opposite Rush. I switch back and forth between the two of them, depending on what they are discussing. If you want to hear him on the net, use the KRLA link in the initial post.
BTTT!!
Bump for later reading!
Thanks for the link ES!!
Lucky you!!
