"He state that as a fact. That is true. His hypothesis was that it was because the city was "sterile" and city kids didn't develop immunities. FALSE." I hope you have solid FACTS to back that up. Explain why city kids freak out and go asthmatic when they get expoed to pollens and other country things, like hay dust (molds) and other such barn "pollutants" while country kids don't? Industrial pollution within city enviroments could be a factor (is) in weakening their (city kids) immunities, but how do you develop immunities in the first place if you are not exposed to the common irratants in the country. Plus why are shelves full of medication for pollen alergies?

Take a trip to a couple of authoritative sites and then come back and we will discuss.

People have allergies because they have inherited allergy genes, not because they live in the city or the country. No allergy genes no allergies or asthma. If you have inherited the genes you will become allergic to things you have been exposed to, don't ask me why one thing and not another, I don't know.
