Well considering a few of them were actually innocent of any connection to terrorism

Caught up in a war not of their making while on a beach vacation in Trashcanistan. You crack me up.

What, you want a date? Sorry, aside from being married, I don't date the confused.

I like your style. As a bonus, you have flushed some critters from under the baseboards.

Abbasi....allegedly stated he wanted to kill Americans and Jews

He's clearly a piece of crap, and should still be in custody. However, you have (and not allegedly) stated here in this thread that you wanted to maim and kill Brits and Muslims. So what does that make you?

People I know go to Afghanistan and Iraq and fight these baseturds, while you rant with your big mouth, hiding out safely at home. That's why I called you on your rant, not because of any 'liberal tendencies'. Violent ranting doesn't make you a brave man.

You and your buddy Yehuda are very brave, in your minds. Men I know go to Iraq and Afghanistan to fight these baseturds. They don't rant from their safe homes, they act. What have you and Yahuda done, other than mouth off?

Maybe its a joke?

Absolutely!

But the joke is on us.

They have also apparently taken a hard line with our new Sec.of State over Iran as well.

One would begin to believe that Iran will achieve nuclear armed status without much interference, in fact protection, of the Euros.

One might also wonder is the first detonation might occur across the pond.

It would destroy our economy as well, but Sovereignty rights just cannot be violated! (they magnanimously state repeatedly)

It's those darn Jooz that are causing all this trouble and the Yanks are in on it.(their papers of record claim)

Sarcasm sorta.......................................(sorta)

The Pentagon says they were freed after the UK government promised they would not be a threat to the national security of the US or any of its allies.

tic tic tic tic tic tic....boom!!!

It looks more and more like it's going to take MASS CASUALTIES once again to wake up the west, 9/11 seems to have faded.

I'm unfortunately convinced that day is coming.

I wonder if the DUmbocrat expressions of horror at how terrorists are treated by us will gain traction after a bunch more of us are murdered?

Usually you need things like evidence to actually hold people.

Gee you would think capturing them on the battlefield fighting to kill you would be enuf evidence?

I guess this is one of the reasons that my husband, upon becoming an American citizen, chose to relinquish his British "subjectship" (his words). "When Britain ceases to become a socialist, Islamic welfare state and has something to earn my respect for it as a country, I may reconsider. Call me." he said before he ripped his passport in half and placed it on the desk of the shocked consular officer... I wanted to marry him all over again!

Could not say about this lot. But the firstlot of Brits released had two deemed innocent.

One was taken illegally from Zambia because someone else had used a copy of his passport.

Another had been taken from Afghan jails where he had been held by the Taliban as a US spy and sold to the Americans.

Neither had any connection with terrorism.

That is why we need due process.

They're bait. Every last move these people make is going to be closely followed, in the hopes that they make contact with their bretheren, which will then expose more of Al Qaeda's operations in Britain. It's all part of a subtle, sly operation to emasculate these blighters...which has prevented any September 11th style attacks on this country.

Regards, Ivan

I'd rather they'd have been shot (after interrogation) do you feel the same way about US soldiers that are captured? It amazes me how often on this site people advocate murdering people without any justification.

Looks like I missed another interesting exchange of ideas. Someone please PING me while this stuff is going on.
Not that I would be here, but I might.
Thank you, Yehuda, for the PING. and while we're at it, expatpat can KMRebelA.
He's lucky I ain't in charge, and I have some friends who have some very interesting ideas regarding the islamofascists who want to wipe us off the face of the Earth.
It won't happen if we have anything to say about it.

I quite simply don't view these men as soldiers.

If we were discussing Iraqi prisoners of war I would not advocate shooting them. However, these men are terrorists and also traitors - they are not soldiers.

I quite simply don't view these men as soldiers okay thats fine, how about if they are working for Halliburton in Iraq and they are civilians, is it okay to shoot them (after interrogation of course)

They will go back to bomb making classes at the local mosque. Hopefully, the British police will plant undercover cops in their midst and prevent tragedy. It will come to IRA type bombings, though, and soon.

I see a clear difference between terrorists and civilian contractors.

That is good that you see the difference but does the other side? it is the proverbial what I call a freedom fighter you call a terrorist; if you say I can kill them because I think they are terrorist, but don't kill my guys because they are freedom fighters just will not wash.

America continues to wage a PC war, in part to appease the UK and other allies. We are at war, make no mistake. Our enemies shouldn't be tried in court as if this were a speeding ticket or Quickie Mart shop lifting charge. It's not a criminal or civil matter. It's war and military rules should apply. At some point there will be another massive attack in the US or perhaps in the UK or France, Germany, and we'll see how long the PC crowd can keep it together.
